A Classic Saloon Car Club championship in association with the British Association of Racing Drivers - BARC.
Group One Touring Cars is a championship for pre 1983 saloon cars produced in units of 5,000 or more and homologated for International Motorsport. Engine and gearbox internals are free, as are brakes - however suspension layout must rename the same and door panels/trim and body silhouette must be standard.
The most popular cars in the series are Escorts, Sunbeams, Mk I Golf GTis, XR3's, Mazda RX7's etc.
The series is sponsored by Miller oils, who produce additives to allow older cars to run on the currently available 95 octane unleaded fuel.
